WA Social Purpose Corp registration + B Corp Certification = Good Business

Benefit Corporations are an exciting new breed of corporate structure that spans the gap between for-profit and not-4-profit. We believe they are good for our country and good for our State.

In 2011 Washington State introduced a light weight version of the benefit corporation called the Social Purpose Corporation. And while we feel it is a good 1st step, combining a SPC registration with B Corp certification makes good business sense.
